Book Spine Poetry

This post was inspired by the book spine poetry activity that my son’s class did today during their library time. The idea is to photograph the spines of stacked books to make a poem. It was easier to do in a library full of books but much harder when I returned home to a pared down family library. In fact, this was the best I could do:

Although this method lacks photos, it’s fun to go through the New York Times bestseller list online (which includes a short list of ‘also selling’ books at the bottom of each page) to make poetry.
